No, there is no contribution required to join the Silver Jubilee event.
Why is there no minimum contribution required?
This reunion marks a significant milestone – 25 years since we parted ways. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and we believe financial obligations should not prevent anyone from participating in this joyous occasion.
Who is bearing the expenses of the event – the College, Alumni Association, or someone else?is there no minimum contribution required?
The College and Alumni Association are facilitators for this event. The event is primarily funded through contributions from former students.

It’s one payment only. The donation goes to SGSITS Alumni Association. This is how it works:
- Any expenses related to reunion I.e. food, photography, T Shirts etc is paid from the Alumni association account. Vendor will give the bill and we pay through check.
- Once all the payments are done for the reunion event the residual amount goes to college. So far example if the total donation collected is Rs 50 lakhs and reunion expenses are 7 lakhs then remaining 43 Lakhs goes to College through alumni association
